Re: From Nelson Pass: Slot Loaded Open Baffle Project The 9dB increase of the front over the rear in the near field is misleading. It is a result that the slot area is 1/3 of the cone area. Same volume velocity front and rear but at the front the "area" is 1/3 so the velocity is 3x.
